ARTIFACT: STAGES OF PAINTING (image)

Depicted here is the step progression of painting an image using the standard "medium" preset.

The order is as follows:

Blank canvas is created.
Modified Kuwahara filter is run on the original image.
Segmented shapes are blocked out.
Corse large brush strokes are added for fill.
Smaller brush strokes are added for fill.
Detail brush strokes are added for fill.
Smaller brush strokes are added for edging.
Detail brush strokes are added for edging.
The output painting is produced.
