Cistercian Numeral Font
[IMAGE] Cistercian Numeral Font

Cistercian Numerals are a form of numeral system created by the Cistercian monastic order.

These numerals offer extreme data density by being able to represent any number from 1 to 9999 in a single character. As such, with trained literacy of the symbols, specific numbers can be displayed to a user in a compact manner. One that is benefitted by the progressive structure of the symbols and may even improve rapid numeral recognition in applications where distances or measurements are critical.

The Cistercian Numeral system is used for such a purpose in the Illegal Astronauts sci-fi universe for which this font was developed.
